Greetings fine people -
Basic tracks were recorded for this new record on February 5th and 6th, 2011 at Woolly Mammoth Sound . Adam Steinberg produced (and played guitar), Sarab Singh (from NYC and from the band Harper Blynn) played drums and Jeff St. Pierre played bass. Additonal tracking was done in the ensuing months at Adam Steinberg's home studio in Watertown and in July, additional tracking was done at Clubhouse in Rhinebeck, NY (where the 2002 release Mr. Heart was born). Jon Graboff joined us for a day and we were thrilled with what he brought to the record. He's an amazing pedal steel/guitar/mando player. We returned with great tracks excited to move forward. Scheduling conflicts and the holidays seemed to thwart our progress but we are now in a new year and pushing forward with final tracking and mixing, to be done at Clubhouse over the months of February/March 2012. Thanks so much to all who donated for my Kickstarter campaign that ended in the spring of last year. I raised $5500 to help with funds for post-production, mixing, mastering, duplication and some promotion as well. MANY thanks to all 95 people who kicked in. Truly thankful and amazed.
